Entry Requirements & Specifications
Please read the Entry Requirements and Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting your Application package.
Complete the application with details about yourself and your motorcycle. You will be contacted by the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge™ Organizers once your application has been processed. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing.
If you want to be one of the focus riders in the media, please include a brief bio about yourself, your bike or your reasons for riding.
Schedule:
The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge™ is expected to begin on the 5th of August 2012.
Each rider will set his or her own schedule, while driving within the posted speed limits on all roads traveled. Participants must arrive at the final checkpoint not more than 18 days from the start date in order to be recognized by the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge™ Organizers.
Motorcycles:
This year's event will be open to riders of all American made big bore, V-twin motorcycles.
All motorcycles will be subject ot eh following restrictions:
- Motorcycles will be limited to a 6.2 gallon fuel tank. Fuel cells, auxiliary tanks and additional gas cans will NOT be permitted.
- All bikes will be required to have a working odometer.
The Organizers reserve the right to restrict other modifications at their own discretion.
Availability:
Participants must be 18 years of age by the start of the challenge in order to participate.
Registration:
Participants will be notified of their scheduled appointment for registration and check-in. Riders should allow for the possibility that they will have to be in Las Vegas, NV as much as three days before the start of the challenge.
All participants will be required to register and present their motorcycles for inspection.
Entry Fee:
The entry fee for the 2012 Event is $1,000.00 U.S. (One Thousand Dollars U.S.) per motorcycle supporting one (1) rider. The entry fee includes your admission into the Event and the parties at the kick-off and at the end of the road. The entry fee also covers the expense of your tracking device which shall be provided by US Fleet Tracking Riders are responsible to pay for the installation of the tracking devices as well as any additional fees which may arise (i.e, food, fuel, accommodations, maintenance and supplies, etc.).
Acceptance is not guaranteed and if your application is not accepted for any reason, your payment will be refunded in full.
Sponsorship:
Participants may seek their own approved sponsors for this event (see Getting Sponsors). The terms of such a sponsorship must be negotiated solely for the benefit of the participant and shall be the responsibility of the participant to fulfill. Such negotiations shall not obligate or encumber the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge™ Organizers in any manner whatsoever.
Veterans may take advantage of our Sponsor a Veteran Program which gives a business or individual the opportunity to pay a Veteran's entry fee in return for displaying their logo on the Vet's bike. Please see the Sponsor a Veteran page for more information.

Cashier's checks or money orders are also welcome. Make your cashier's check/money order payable to the Medicine Show Land Trust.
